Upgraded my 430RBZ radio to 50.00.07!
Been waiting for quite some time to get rid of the awful blue background. New version has a black background with grey buttons. I also think I can tell there is an improvement in the sound quality. Especially with the satellite radio.

I upgraded mine a couple weeks ago too. I was running software version 20.02.01, so I had to upgrade to 33.01.23 first, and then to 50.00.07.
The color change is leaps and bounds better then the blues, and I *swear*, it boots up and displays the backup cam faster now too (although, I didn't time it before...so its entirely anecdotal).

Assuming your on a version 20.xx software like I was, you need to get the version 30 and 50 software image files. Then burn each image to their own separate discs or 2 separate (blank, newly formatted) thumbdrives. After that, just put in the first image file and do the firmware update. Once the first one completes, then go to the next one. Whole process should take about 15 minutes.
I have the image files still if you need them.

Sounds great! I have a jump drive I'm sure I could reformat for each update. How do I know which version I have? Could you email them to me? Can you update from a cd? That may be a little easier.
