Will this work on the 430N RHB (Navigation)? I would love to ditch the blue. Also looking for map software update. It looks like the 2014 s/w is out of stock, plus $150 is rediculous. Has anyone updated their map software yet?

Do I need to update the HDD? It asks if I want to after the radio is updated. Do I do the update on both builds?

 

Sorry guys, I was off the last couple days. Hopefully all your questions were answered by the others.

Did anyone get sirius channel graphics to come up? I wasn't able to figure that out.

 

When I updated the HDD update box was the only thing that popped up. I hit yes. I did a lot of research and no one really recommended going straight to 50 from 22. update to 33 and then go to 50.

 

Thank you, sorry for the confusion. It updated the radio to 33 and then asked if I wanted to update the HDD. Do I say yes or cancel? Maybe yours didn't do that?

 

I don't think mine did that. I updated to 33 a while ago and don't recall exactly what happened. Sorry.

 

Ok, I need to thank you again Jared, so everyone understands I was freaking out last night, I thought I bricked the radio and was emailing him like a madman to figure it out and he saved me. I removed the disk too soon( I thought it was done rebooting, it wasn't) and it wasn't done and just froze. Luckily for me a few cycling of in the ignition unfroze the radio and I was able to proceed.

For those that are doing this, it will ask if you want to update the HDD, say yes and be patient. When it's finally done you will know as mine did not eject the cd, it just allowed me to turn on the radio.

Too, do this outside of your garage to properly update Sirius and get additional features as I did not and need to down grade and reupgrade this morning.

It is a great upgrade and looks so much classier than the blue colors of version 20 and 33!

The update while may help, have you followed your previous post? Once I convinced the dealer that they didn't know what they were talking about and brought the printed thread that you started, they then updated the Uconnect SW and my connection with my iPhone 5 has been flawless. It used to skip and pop during music through Bluetooth and not see the phone and would never play the music through the USB port.

Trust me, print off your thread with all the responses and have them show you physically like xsdbs suggested. It worked for me!

Another bonus with the update, rear camera is instantly on after start up and now when I hit next song off of my phone it doesn't pause or start two to three seconds into the song. And it does seem to have improved sound. AMAZING update!!
