I left MDS on since I don't really notice it most of the time, I do make some pretty long family trips with the Ram, and it shuts off quickly when I need it to.

Default HP gains with 93 octane?

What have you all seen with the 93 vs 89 octane rating and once hemifever tune is on can you see or hear the difference? Worth 489?

My primary use for my Ram is to tow my camper and my enclosed trailer and 93 octane is not always available to me, so I went with a 91 octane tune. I had no issues with the way my 2014 Ram with Hemi towed the family and either of the loaded trailers, but had the tuner from my 2011 Durango which did not tow as well. So for me it was a pretty easy decision to purchase a tune for the Ram since I already had the tuner. And there is a very noticeable difference between stock and tuned. I haven't tried an 89 octane tune so I cannot comment on that. I had Sean leave torque management on (to save the driveline when towing) and also left MDS enabled, but even with that the acceleration is a lot more linear and there's not the noticeable lag when the 8 speed shifts like it has stock. I also have not noticed much, if any, decrease in fuel economy. I haven't noticed an increase either, but I also drive the truck more aggressively now since it is more fun than stock.
