Default Getting rid of my interior chrome

If you could get rid of all the chrome on your dashboard what would you replace it with? Carbon? Black?

The engineer who thought of chrome on the side vent opening must have never got in one on a sunny day. That's all you see in the window while looking at the mirror F/n Einstein

I agree, chrome on interior parts is just a lack of common sense and design consideration. Then again, chrome on the OUTSIDE blinds other drivers...is that any better?

I KNOW! I saw that and was like WTF is in my mirror??? Then I was damn are you freaking serious...

I have given this much thought. My initial choice was either red carbon or red to match the stitching but now I think a matte silver would be better. There's already matte silver accents that would better compliment the look.

my 2013 Buick Regal Turbo vents plus the damn shifter and gear box surround where them same way and it was blinding at times. I would cover the shifter so i could see in the middle of the day.

i wonder how easy it is to take off all the chrome, im willing to plasti dip it all or even spray paint it all black gloss
