Yes, it's AWD. If I had to do all stop and go, then my mileage would be horrible. Secret with these 5300 lb beasts is to keep them rolling!

Thanks ! I can imagine the wait would seem like forever in the winter! The good weather has definitely taken my mind off of it...Well during the day at least lol

Looks like the only difference is the option of getting the V-6 or V-8 along with a few more color options (interior and exterior):

Have an 11 Citadel and about to leave on this years road trip with a cargo box. Thule and the mounts did not line-up with the non-adjustable rails. Had to drill new holes to mount.

Anyway shortly after we get back the plan is to trade up to a 14 R/T.

No question from what you will enjoy the most especially on a trip is the Citadel. It has everything you could need or want. I looked at the R/T and went with the Citadel because it had tons more features for very little more money.

What does the citadel really add over a loaded RT?

Besides luggage racks.

I just picked up an AWD Citadel with the V6. I am about 60 miles from the dealer and got 25+ mph driving home on the interstate. The computer showed an average of 19+ mpg from before I purchased it. I will keep tabs on the mpg but I am thinking that I will get 20-24 if I don't get heavy footed in stop and go traffic. I don't live in a big city. Just a rural town.

Unless you are going to order a vehicle you will find the dealer stock of Citadel's to be loaded up with every option. The R/T will be nicely equipped but
lacking some of the tech features of the Citadel.

Which tech features? I'm truly curious.

With the Citadel you get lots of chrome, no painted lower trim, and a luggage rack that's it every option you get of a Citadel you can get on a R/T. Think of it as sporty or classy which way to go.
