Default '14 Citadel vs R/T

Hey peeps,

I really am torn about the 2 models and I need some advice. I love the features of the Citadel , but I love the look of the R/T better. I will be using this as a vacation vehicle for road trips and will need to use a luggage carrier on occasion .

The R/T says there is no roof rack ( understandable for styling ) is there a way to have one put on the R/T?

Also, Are there major differences between the 2 as far as bells and whistles ?

Thanks for your input!

Get a Citadel and style it like an R/T. Most parts are changeable I upgraded my 2012 Citadel to have the R/T exterior trim. Now working on SRT upgrades. Brembo's her we come.

brembos are awesome!

i had a chose the R/T over citadel because it gave me all i needed luxury wise, while having the chome-free look.

The R/T has all of the features plus a nicer exhaust. You are paying thousands for the Chrome look on the Citadel.

I went with the RT because it sits lower and has a more aggressive look. Why pay more for a Citadel and then spend the extra money to convert its look to that of an RT.

I love driving my RT on long road trips.

Sorry no, it was a leftover and I like all the bells and whistle inside.

Default Matter of preference

R/T vs Citadel is a styling and handling choice. R/T has a firmer ride, red stitched black leather and no chrome. Great on trips but a firmer ride. No roof rack either. Either one is fine, but I prefer the look of the R/T.

If you like the way the R/T looks then you will have buyers remorse if you don't buy it. Instead of a roof rack you can get additional storage with a hitch rack as well. Or rent a small trailer that you can detach at your destination. The R/T has the style, stance, sound and ride that is enthusiast focused which would be faily expensive to alter another model.
