Default Any mods for the 2013 R/T Hemi Durango to help gas mileage?

Hello all my wife and I just replaced our 2007 Nitro R/T w a 2013 Dodge Durango R/T AWD. We love this beast . WOW What a fun ride.
We every option Available on this baby and we call he the Big Red Machine.
Quick Question to all you Hemi Owners is there any options to help this beast get a little better gas mileage we are averaging so far 16 in the city and 22 on the highway. Just want to see if there is any way to help consume some gas/$. We knew what we were getting into but any thing to save a buck in the long run is worth it.

If your getting 22 on the highway your doing something right.
My commute is a 45 minute open interstate ride (literally no traffic when I drive in) and I set the cruise at 70 the whole drive and the computer hasn't shown me over 19.5 yet.

How many miles do you have on it so far? It does improve.

Around town 13-14mpg. freeway is 22-24mpg up from stock with my listed mods. Don't mod for mileage as you rarely get your money back in the first 3 years. Mod for power, drivability, sound and looks.

20k miles.... More than enough to be broke in. I guess the 19 the vec is showing is from the average of the city/hwy. next time I go to work I'll reset it and see what it shows with only 40 miles of interstate

Saleen-- you're doing great on mileage. I keep a good coat of wax on mine and keep the tire pressure above the 36 lb suggested inflation by a few pounds. Where these things kill you is getting them rolling......if you can time lights for less stop and go you'll do better.

Sometimes I just turn off the Fuel Economy window and just enjoy this thing. I average as good or better than my wife's Honda Ridgeline, and nearly as good as my 2012 4Runner I had. And those are V-6's........so vrooooom!

Amen to that Ridgeline comment.

I thought we'd regret going from a Ridgeline to a V8 but it's about the same.

Loved the Ridgeline but for a Honda, got terrible mileage.
