Just got the 2011 Citadel 5.7 and the exhaust is way to QUIET !!!

Just looking to hear the HEMI and a little rumble when i start it and get on the gas. Don't want to do a flowmaster exhaust system... i still want it to be quiet in the cabin.

i want to use the Nav. while in motion/driving .
Did anyone ever use the MYGIG LOCK PIC V.3 ?
Do we know if there are any problems with it ?

The Question i hope to get answered is did anyone leave with more then 5 gallons of gas in the tank from the dealer ? The dealer told me that they (dodge,chylser,jeep) doesn't pay for gas anymore. i am in NEW YORK and got a Blacberry Pearl Citadel for $43,196 plus $1495 for a 7yr/85k max care plan (bumper to bumper).

5 gallons sounds right. That is what I got too back in 2000.

No idea (yet) on the other topics.

I thought the special warranty was to be included and not a buy-up on all Citadels. You may want to look into that in other areas to confirm and then raise hell with the dealer if need be.

if someone else has this included let me know because i love to raise hell over stuff like this..... i was over a barrel due to there was only 1 Blackberry Pearl with the 5.7 within 100 miles and 5 dealers next to my house. So i did't have any wiggle room or demands. i was also told that i can't order that color due to the problems over in Japan.

 

Japan? Okay then... since it is built in Detroit.

Maybe the paint comes from a Japanese supplier.

I think they are pulling your leg on the exclusion for the v8. I call BS and would call them out on it too. They may simply be wrong and not know **OR** they intentionally screwed you. Call Chrysler Customer Service and ask if that special warranty wasn't already supposed to come with the Citadel including brakes, shocks, oil changes etc. Everything.

Maybe you have that same pack yet upgraded from a 36 to an 85? For 36 EVERYTHING including standard maintenance, even radiator flush and fills is to be included for free.

Indy, i call customer service they told me.
The free oil changes and extra goodies don't come with the 5.7
You get a $30 allowance for....
12 oil changes or 3yr/36k which ever comes 1st. and its threw Dodge incentives and only Good at a Dodge dealer.
So, here in New York my dealer charges $120 for the Synthic and extra guard filter for the 5.7L. so it cost me $90 a pop !!!
Now, if i do it myself... the filter cost $5 (fram max. guard) and 7 qts are $34.99 ( Mobile 1 synthic at Walmart) and i save $50 bucks. So yea i did get screwed.
They also told me to save the reciepts to prove it was done so it won't effect the warranty.
Just hit 200 miles on the clock in a week and i am LUCKY IF I GET 12 miles a GALLON !!! 5.7L Hemi AWD !!!
as for the paint yea the supplier is in Japan i was told !!!!
The sound system is WEAK !!!
I also got all the owners manuals mailed to me for free. Just call customer care and ask for them. It only came with a cheeseee DVD and a 40 page book. I am getting a 600 page book for the truck and 120 page book for the radio and Nav. and a 20 page Explaintion of Warranty.
I purchased a Max. Care plan $1495 7yr/85k that includeds everything except tires,brake pads and rotors....... When you see all the crap in this thing that will brake you need this service agreement...

i bought my citadel a couple weeks ago for the ol lady, all the bells and whisles except for awd. if you get all that and awd for 43k then holly poo lol i paid 43 with out awd, and that was down from 46, 500....anyways yeah i dont know about the exaust or CIA, not really interested in the exaust but the CIA i would be...

and yes you are rightm the sound system is freaking weak. im probably goign to see what i can do about that for wifeys b-day

about the only 5 gallons of gas HA, thats freaking weak man, i drove away with a FULL tank, and the wifey drives it to a and from work at about 30 miles one way on rolling hills the whole way, she made it there and back 6 times, 2 of the times was going to town to run errands, and told me today that she will probbaly have to fill up on the way home tomorrow, so im really inpressed about that, she uses cruise controll the whole way though, try and utilize the four cylinder thing ya know...
