My wife has a 05 hemi truck. Changed out factory plugs at 94,000 miles. No noticeable change in power, mpg, or run ability. That set of plugs is still in at 180,000 miles now.
Btw, I got my best ever MPG on a tank at 160,000 miles.

We don't have emissions testing though, so Idk if the emissions part is what they were going for by changing the plugs so early. Truck has almost always had 87 oct in the tank as well.

P.s. The plugs weren't dirty or fouled at 94k, and I didn't expect them to be. The gap was wider than they are to be set at, but they weren't "omg" wide.

Ok guys it occured to me while I was sitting on the throne that the 2014 plugs may be usable on the 11-13' hemi. 5.7 V8 Hemi (2014)
Mopar p/n SP143877AA (NGK Iridium 1LZFR5E-11). And
5.7 V8 Hemi (2011-2013)
Mopar p/n 05149177AB (NGK Yttrium ZFR5C-11). The 11-13' plugs change interval is so drastically different to the 14's 100k mile versions I am curious how far off the heat range is between these 2 plugs. This effects the balance between keeping the tip hot enough at idle to prevent fouling and cold enough at maximum power to prevent pre-ignition. Although these hemis are mechanically identical the tuning is different mainly because the 14's 8 speed transmission will have a totally different "load" map for fuel delivery. Even so I find it hard to believe that the heat range would be changed enough to alter cyl temps in a negative way. Maybe TNTECH or someone else has some input on this subject. Can 11-13' hemi's use the 14' plugs???

32k. Interesting. Right before the warranty runs out.

It seems kinda silly to me. Lol, the plugs are under 3/36. I guess they could make a case that 4K they won't cover them, but they usually do cover.

Any chance you could get your hands on any info on these two plugs bro?(heat range) I would have no problem running the 14' plugs in my 13' as a Guinea pig to differentiate with my scanner but..... I'm only at 8800 miles in a year and a half. Who is closer to 30k and willing. Doesn't 100k mile plugs sound gooooood!

Here's some reading from NGK on heat ranges. 5 pages worth.

Good read ...FULLSLP I am game as well with only 9500 miles on clock in 16 months
In my past experience these motors run best on Copper plugs and these are simply the iridium plugs now. When I get home from a trip on the 30th I am gonna contact NGK to see what difference is
