Actually he got up to $300k. Plus a new Taurus on top of that.

I'm not going anywhere. If lease rates for the R/T are going to be crappy, I may just have to do a sported out Limited with Hemi.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Add a Hemi to the Limited and pricewise it's the same as the R/T. Plus you get a choice of two additional colors.

What's the MSRP of the vehicle? My configuration stickers at $46k. I have not yet requested any lease quotes.

I leased my 2013 R/T. Sticker was $41,365. Negotiated price was $36,500. Purchase option at end of lease is $24,000. Monthly payment is $404. Not sure if any of this helps... There was about $150/mo price difference between a 3yr lease and a 5yr loan.

I usually lease my cars because I get bored of them after 3-4yrs anyway. If you are the type that can't hang on to a car long enough to get equity in it, a lease is not a bad option if you can stay within the mileage requirements. The payments are much lower and you are always within warranty. You don't need tires or brakes or anything else beyond a few oil changes.

We actually like our DD so much, that when the lease is up this DEC, we will probably purchase it.
