Passenger's side heat blows cold
Whether set on "sync" or adjusted separately, the passenger's side blows cold air. The driver's side works fine. Any ideas on what may be causing the problem?
My guess would be an actuator that's gone bad. In order to make a dual comfort system actually work, motorized dampers were placed on each side of the duct work. These dampers also known as actuators/servos open and close in response to what amount of heat/cold is "dialed in" by the respective passenger or driver. So the fact that you say one side is working fine, is making me lean towards a failed passenger side actuator.

Wow, that actually doesn't sound like all that bad of a repair. Are there any more details you would be willing to share, such as where the damaged cam was located?
Historically I've had what I feel have been my fair share of climate control issues on other vehicles, it's probably only a matter of time before I have them on this one too. I'd like to be as armed with knowledge as possible.

I pulled the trim panel under the glove box and could see the broken part. It was light gray plastic so it stood out from the other black parts. It was the part the actuator turned.
Hope that helps.
