Default vehicle phone requires service

2014 Dodge Durango, alert comes up on the radio monitor stating that the vehicle phone requires service please contact your dealer.
I have taken it to the dealer they had it for 2 days and now just say I need a new monitor. I should also mention when this alert comes up on the uconnect screen. the navigation stops working as well as the time. I can be going north and it says I am going west. the 911 on the rear view mirror lights up in red. I don't want to purchase a new screen for 1000+ dollars when this shouldn't be happening. any help on how to fix/override the problems would be great

This is after the alert came up in the screen. In this photo I am driving south and notice how the time is wrong

Hi pspackman,

Are you already out of your 3 year/36K mile basic warranty? Do you have an extended warranty under which this might be covered for you?

Angry Vehicle phone needs service

I just had a new radio put in my 2014 Dodge Durango just 2 1/2 months ago. Now on occasion the screen comes up completely black for 1-2 minutes when the car is started instead of the "Dodge and Uconnect" screen. It also started giving me "vehicle phone needs serviced" after the radio was replaced. Can you tell me what is going on with it?

Who put the radioo in for you? Why not take it back? Did they give you a warranty on it? Was it a new or used radio?
