Default 2013 Durango Citadel Interior Lights Issue

This is a really weird issue. I replaced all of the interior lights to led. There are lights under the dash by the foot well. When I changed the lights under the dash, the lights stop working. The don't work when I unlock the truck and open the door.

This is where it is weird. Both lights under the dash are led. They are the exact voltage and wattage of the original bulbs. If I replace one of the lights under the right side dash with the original bulb, the lights start working. If I put the led back, the stop working.

The lights not working are all based on the passenger side footwell.

Any thoughts?

Well if it were me, I'd put whatever bulb that makes them all work back in and call it a day.

You must not get out much.

The stock bulbs will last pretty much the life of the truck. Not like you are paying for the power to run them.......

LEDs have polarity - if they don't work....turn them around in the socket

You whine about your silly LED lights, then I offer a response because you whine when no one responds, then you whine again because you don't like the response? Maybe next time let your husband handle the light bulbs since clearly you don't have a clue.

I don't know if it's a similar problem, but I do know that in some vehicles in you connect a trailer that has LED lights, the trailer lights won't work properly. The solution is to wire an incandescent bulb into the circuit. Then they work. Apparently the circuit needs to see the resistance of an incandescent build to work properly.

So maybe your circuit also need to sense that resistance, hence it works when you leave one incandescent in.
