No just bought it yesterday from my Dodge dealer and coincidentally the other one was lost but a new replacement is only a little over$220
All butts seem dead on the fob byt the proximity feature works fine. I popped off the button and plugged in the fob and it turns, like a regular key, but does nothing. The 2" display where the press start says "off in the lower right corner. And now the fob is trapped by the ignition switch and cannot be removed.

As much as hate to suggest it, you might want to contact the FCA dealership where you purchased the vehicle.
I think the dealership owes you some help on your issue, since you just bought the vehicle.
Hopefully they will step up and help you without trying to charge you $$.

Let us know how it goes.

What's that for and where did you get the idea to try it?

Interesting find. If that's fuse 10-amp M27 in the TIPM, that's the fuse for the Ignition switch, Wireless control module, and Keyless Entry Module.

This happened to my wifes T+C and it ended up being a bad (car) battery!
