Light came on for maybe five seconds until turn signal was cancelled by making the turn. No more warning light bust fast blink on right turn signal. If the warning lights are suppose to stay on and don’t then what’s is causing that problem and how to fix?

You are telling us you have a burned out bulb and then asking if the lamp out message will stay on until the bulb is replaced. Replace the bulb.

I think what he's asking is, if the "lamp out" indicator should come on every time the turn signal is activated for that side, why does he only get the indication one time even though the bulb is still out. Like you, I thought the lamp out warning would happen each time the turn signal is activiated, not just just once per drive cycle. If it's only happening once per drive cycle, is that an indication of some other fault? I'm not sure.

Light came on for five seconds making a right hand turn and that was all. I got home and right turn signal was a fast flash and not right turn signal when I was standing in front of car looking at right turn signal. That was on Saturday and after dealer looked at car. Today Monday I started car for wife to see if any turn signal out warning would come on and no warning. I turned the right turn signal on and no warning, I then got out of car and turn signal was working. We bought the extended warranty on the electrical. Any thoughts on what’s going on? If turn signal out warning length is suppose to be on if turn signal bulb is not flashing then there is something more wrong or if when you use the turn signal and the bulb is not flashing and the dash warning light not telling you the bulb is out then there is something more wrong. I don’t know when or how long the turn signal out warning light on the dash is suppose to come on because it makes no reference in the owners manual. If right front turn signal bulb is not flashing and no warning light on dash then could it be something major like with the computer? If so I want dodge to make note of it so they will fix it down the line if they don’t know how to fix it now.

You don't mention what year your Durango is, but you do reference "bulb" so I'll assume it uses incandescent bulbs rather than LEDs. I'd suggest you start by replacing the questionable turn signal bulb. It's possible the filament is broken but making intermittent connection with the post, explaining the intermittent warning and turn signal functionality. If while replacing the bulb you find corrosion in the bulb socket, figure out how moisture could get to the connection and remedy that before replacing the bulb..
