Default Humming sound from front air vents in like new 2013 Dodge Durango Citadel

Hey all,

I just bought a very clean 2013 Dodge Durango Citadel with 60k miles. I noticed a low humming sound coming from the front air vents when i get up in speed about 70 to 80 miles an hour. It doesn't always happen. I read somewhere that it was the blower motor so I had that swapped out but the humming sound is still there. Got a long trip coming up so I am not sure if this annoying noise will be something that I will be able to put up with or not. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same thing on my 2011 Durango. It was the front bumper lower trim vibrating at high spends and when it was really windy out. I noticed it was loose and when I replace my front bumper and lower bumper and the lower trim it stopped. Now I replace mine because the bumper was cracked. So if you check underneath make sure all your clips are tight and in place. Even if one is loose it's enough to cause that vibration.

Maybe it's humming because it doesn't know the words. ( Sorry, couldn't resist.) Anyway, like a previous poster said, check your body trim as it sounds like it's speed related. I tracked a sound down to the antenna on the fender. It had gotten bent and the owner straightened it back up. just not quite right. A used antenna mast from the bone yard and it was copacetic afterwards.
