ViperGG,
I've been turning that system off since I got it. Salesman actually advised me to. How can a dealer check for transmission problems? This is not normal and, I really have driven this truck lightly. I really don't think I want to keep this truck for safety is my only and main concern, but I doubt FCA, Dodge will care about my complains.

I took service advisor assistant on test drive to see if we could hear noise and it did. The assistant heard the noise and reported back to service advisor.
Now new dealer said only noise replicated was a retainer holding a heater pipe by firewall the retainer allowed heater pipe to rattle?

Does that make sense or they simply giving me run around?

I complained to BBB, dealer responded saying they will happy trade me out of the Durango. Question is are they trying to trick me into accepting whatever they want to give me, or they want me to decline to make it seem like I’m trying to play games. Just wanted to get opinions on best course to go with.

PG.. 1 piece of advice I have learned is don’t be afraid to take to non-dealer mechanics. I have a tech I use at my local oil change location. He is very hands on especially with domestic vehicles. You would be surprised, and the vehicle is under warranty bring it somewhere else , there is nothing wrong with doing that. Have they mentioned anything possibly with fuel pump?

I just want Dodge to take this truck back and refund me my money. I’ve decided to hire a attorney and hope to get repurchased.

If anyone cares the 4th dealer did replace rocker arms/lifters, camshaft and the engine still rattles. The pop noise is getting worse, today I had to get off highway to inspect brakes after hearing a squeaking noise. I pulled into a college parking lot empty, after putting truck in park the truck pulled back and tire/brake area squealed as metal hitting metal.
