I bought my vehicle to the Matt Bowers CDJR before deploying with the army in July 2024 and the dealership did not finish my engine replace until January 2026. The dealership stop returning calls and texts when I was deployed. This dealership also intentionally submitted fraudulent documents to Mopar to have an engine replacement approved without my knowledge. They submitted the wrong intake date and mileage of my Durango.
I picked up my Durango this year with damages caused by the neglect and unprofessionalism of Matt Bowers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I reached out to the dealership multiple times via email and phone with no response.
Damages:paint destroyed on vehicle and rims, vehicle parts and tools randomly placed in vehicle, passenger front seat assembly broken and not properly re-assembled, main battery cover not properly re-assembled, engine cover missing, and under carriage for the engine protection has zip ties as a part of the “fix”. This will cost me thousands of dollars to repair.
I also submitted everything to Dodge Customer Care and they informed me they can not make the dealership fix the damages because it is independently owned.
Does anyone have legal referrals or advice?

Do you have proof that the damage was caused by the dealership? It's been there for quite a while...... so you are going to need to show that it wasn't damaged when you brought it to them..... With that in hand, I would GO THERE, and have a chat with the general manager, or owner, or both..... and see what, if anything, they are willing to do for you. If they won't give satisfaction, get an estimate on repairs (from someplace else.....) and consider taking them to small claims court. (no lawyers there.....) If you aren't comfy with that idea, take what ya got to a lawyer, and have a chat.

yes I have random picture before bringing it into the dealership and I have emailed them several times with pictures and concerns but they have not responded to me.
also, my vehicle was in their possession the entire time from July 2024 - January 2026. I have even requested the pictures taken at the intake of my vehicle with no response. Btw these are emails to the general manager, service advisor and executive assistant to the president…all which I have communicated through email before.
Dodge needs to investigate and audit this dealership immediately in my opinion, especially due to the insurance fraud.
Thank you for your advice, I will definitely be getting estimates on all of this.
I don't think Dodge has much say in how the dealer runs his show........ At this point though, I would be real tempted to contact a lawyer, have the LAWYER chat with 'em. That should get their attention.
Being that this is an actual dodge dealership, I would assume that there is contractual agreements between Matt Bowers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Dodge (Stellantis).
I’m in the network now for an attorney but I’m looking to still share this experience. The dealership is still a representation of Dodge (Strellantis)
The disrespect for this dealership to take advantage of an Army Soldier while I was deployed is insane.
