Hudsontripod, you need to buy a 3" rubber pipe coupler from the hardware store along with the PVC piping. They are like ~6 bucks, about 3-4" long and they attach over the TB opening with a hose clamp to secure it and another hose clamp to secure it to the intake pipe (PVC pipe). There are a few detailed write ups around here, you may just have to browse a few threads or do a search.

Yes you clearly didn't do research before attempting this because there is a great write up in the DIY section which I used to make mine and I didn't have a single problem.

Default Take it easy.

Well dude was a little rough on a brother. Could have been a bit nicer about it.

Not really considering the situation and how the kid claimed to have research this topic oh and not to mention in another thread I gave the guy the link for the DIY CAI

Exactly. I wasn't hard on him at all. That's actually my nice way of telling someone off.

Yeah, wow that guy must be having a bad day, no reason for name calling. telling someone to do a quick search is no grounds for getting ur panties in a twist.

Not defending the person with the heated reply "go ****" etc., but I could see how someone could get irritated when they tried something and it didn't work. Like my big dumb self (never reading the instructions that come with the item) and the last thing I want to hear is "didn't you read the instructions?"

I think the work "Clearly" and "I didn't have problems" put a bad taste in his mouth.

Can't we all just

Default OK, ok.

Ok, I see your point. But when I screw something up, try being a touch nicer. And I will always respond in kind.
That being said. "you can lead or hourse to water but you can't make him drink" sounds like the issue here. After being told more than once, well, "sorry bro, you ARE the weakest kink", "goodbye".
So lets agree you were infact in the right. And dude needs to chill, big time. Lets talk about whoop **** trucks. I would like to see more pictures and custom mods. Bolth interior and exterior. As soon as I get a few things painted I will take some of my 03 1500.
