Royal Purple to see if it makes any differance in MPG but nope.. So will go back to either Castrol or Rotella synthetics.. What purolator filter are you all using? is it a full size filter, or the half filter from mopar?

What do you mean half size? Just b/c it's shorter doesn't mean it lacks filter media to get the job done. I run pureone's or the purolator classics on my truck, motorcraft is also good (they're made by purolator).

Way too many variables, lack of guys (Us) being able to test, etc.

Run what you like. It's whatever makes the owner happiest

As per the Poll instruction: Quakerstate 5w30 High RPM Semi-Synthetic, got on sale for $ 4 ea (946 ml metric crap) Bought 8, needed 7 to make 6.6L. After sale store stopped carrying it so not sure if we can get it here? Will give this type and brand a go. Got 225K and feel if I go full Syn at this point I may start leaking Oil (used with K&N HP 2004).
