Gears
Got 3.92s right now but either going to 4.10s or 4.56s just wanting a little more power but need to keep somewhat good gas mileage on the highway with my hemi. only running 32" tires....soon to be smaller after a lower drop
there are some good online gearing tire combo calculators
one is here

i have an 03 4.7 with the towing pkg and limited slip so the current gearing is 3.21 if im not mistaken.. i am running 35's now. What is the best gear ratio for 35's? this is my daily driver and i drive city and highway mainly, so i dont want to lose alot of MPG . i get about 8-9mpg now, how much less mpg would with gears ?
i have an 08 ram 1500 sport 4x4 with lsd 3.92 gears. I have a 5 speed auto and to get it into 5ht gear i have to go about 110km/h i was wondering if anyone would know that puttin in 4.10 would lower the shift speed into 5th an be better on gas on the highway?? and also help my truck stay in 4 cyl mod more??? thanks
miketrock, i have read that alot...have any idea why??? i would think its because my truck does seem to switch back and forth a lot but my tires are a touch larger than stock i lost a lot of mileage and my tires aren't even that much bigger stock is 265/70 an i now have 265/75 only diff is 1 inch taller an now load range E so 6 ply little heavier anharder....i have the bully dog an it has lots of options but not to disable mds i don't think i wish it could so i could try this
