Superchips Questions and Updates
okay my guys with the 4.7s i need to see a few shift schedules so i can cheat a lil that way i dont overlap my shifts and screw something up, as most of you all know i was away for my wedding and honeymoon well now im back and its time to play as i had no opportunity to do so before i got hitched....
Okay, I put in the correct tire size, and now the speedo is correct.
But I have to say, using the programmer is a little cumbersome, and the manual is just about worthless.
I know what the rev and speed limiter are, but what is 1-2 and 2-3 WOT RPM?
Also, the current setting for all of these are "SC"...is that short for Superchip?
The manual says I can adjust shift points and pressure...how is this done?
And lastly, what is a "schedule"?
Thanks much!

As for WOT 1-2 and 2-3: this is the RPM you want to upshift when you mash the throttle. There's also additional information in the FAQ (link also found in 2140).
Thanks Papa, but Im only more confused.
If I want to stiffen up my shifts, how do I do it?
I presume I have to download something, but the SC website (like the manual) is of little help.
I still dont understand what a "schedule" is, and what its application/use is.
Thanks,
-Chris

Torque management reduction is the way to firm up and quicken your shifts. You can modify the TM without doing a schedule, and just take the percentages down to where you feel you have the best shift. Most guys go around 8-10%, at least for wide open throttle. Youll find the TM menu under advanced options.
And as a side note, the manual is somewhat "generic" because some vehicals have different options. Currently there is no line pressure adjustment for the dodge trucks.

With the FAQ and this shift schedule it should make it a little easier to understand.
