The main differences between the two products are that the Cortex offers a 2 year powertrain warranty and out of the box it covers our entire Dodge line from gas to diesel.

As glass3222 has explained, performance options are the same and I agree that the 3865 is the better buy if considering the Flashpaq model due to the additional features not available to the 3815 like the Advanced Trans Tuning and TPMS control.

Ok, I've done a crap load of searching, but I can't find this info. I just did the SC Cortex 87 tune and definitely grabbed me by the booboo. I'm just curious if there are actual dyno results on a stock Hemi? Mine is all stock, except the tune.

I just upgraded my 2004 Ram 1500 QC truck from 17" wheels to 20" wheels. Will the SCT allow me to recalibrate my speedo? I see on the product website tire adjustments beginning at 22.5". What gives?

Yes the 3865 and 3950 programmers can reprogram your speedometer for tire sizes from 22.5" to 42"

Never mind, think I answered my own question, once I gave it a little thought.

 

hehe relies the wheel size is different then tire size? and u wont have to recalibrate ur speedo for wheel size, endless u increased ur tire size.

 

Pretty much felt like an idiot after I figured it out! I guess I should have engaged my brain a bit before engaging the keyboard...
