No, there is no way *YOU* can back it up. However, SC has a backup of your Stock settings when you updated your tuner after tuning your truck. They copy your stock values to their server so they can always recover should there be a hardware failure with your tuner. That's why it's always good to update your tuner again after you've first tuned your truck and anytime after the dealer updates your PCM.

Thanks Mark. I did update back when the 9r04 came out. I was afraid it wouldn't load back with the TIPM issue I am having, but I completed returning the truck back to stock just as you replied so no worries.

It took like 2 hours and a gajillion posts to find out the answer I was looking for.

Thanks again.

One thing I've see over and over in different forums is that Diablo does NOT totally clean up after itself when returning to stock. Residual parts are left behind and many users have had to have their PCM re-flashed by a dealer to fix odd-ball things happening. Just something to keep in mind.

Yes and Yes. Just make sure the tuner isn't Vin locked to the sellers vehicle. Otherwise, you'll have to send the programmer to SC and pay $100 for them to unlock it.
Also, you will need to BUY the trans option as it's not just a free download.

What dirtydog said + It doesn't work on the Jeep - the Jeep requires the 3875 tuner.

ALSO, get the serial number and call Superchips Tech Support at 1-888-227-2447 and tell them you would like to see if the tuner is reported stolen. If it is, you'll have a $200 paperweight.

The 3865 will work on your 02 4.7L Ram. You'll gain +21.9HP and 19.4 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Advanced Trans Option Upgrade will NOT work on your truck and you may have issues with Advanced Data Acquisition as your computer is too slow. But, other than that you'll love what it does for your truck.

I have not heard of any issues directly but you may want to check with customer service at your earliest convenience to verify that info and can also assist you if another problem exists.

Customer service can be reached at 888-227-2447.
