If the build date on the vehicle says late 07 or early 08 you might be running an 07 OS which would be the reason for it not working.
That being said PM me your tuner SN., VIN, and vehicle build date and I will see what I can find out for you.

ive updated my tuner a couple of time and still dont have the 93 tune. i called superchips and the guy told me my truck wasnt able to get the 93 octane tune but everyone on here has been saying 08 and up. i read on a pontiac g8 forum you had to tune it for the 91 octane and then update it and then it would put the 93 on there. also i didnt see anything between pages 250-260 unless i am an idiot. which i probably did miss it.

i would say the 3865 Flashpaq. It offers all of the features of the 3815 with an additional quick tune option and will be ready to move into that 2011 or 2012 you end up buying.

Scott, hello i just purchased my 3865 flashpaq and i have updated it and have not yet installed it to my truck yet,the question i have is that i have connected it a few times to my laptop and sometimes it says login failed and other times i can get it to the easy update program and other times it says usb time out while the software is anylizing the tuner? it takes a few times for the software to work? any ideas why? I also am intrested in the optinal trans tuning options for $40 but i cant seem to find it under programmer upgrades or vheic 1 or vheic 2? how do i go about purchasing the trans tuning options? sorry for so many questions. thanks alot Bob.

I looked into the connectivity issues being posted here and found out that the Superchips Internet Update server is currently experiencing significant technical issues (a perfect storm of hardware and software crashes) resulting in poor login and tuner update performance.
Our R&D team is working aggressively to address the server problem; however, the solution appears to be very time consuming. We expect to have the matter resolved no later than Feb 11, so please be patient with us. We regret the inconvenience. We’re committed to excellent customer service and will try to keep you posted with progress reports.

Pricing is gonna be pretty much the same wherever you look due to our minimum resale pricing requirements. What you can look for is dealers offering shipping discounts to save you some $$.

I just orderded the superchip 3865 from truckcustomizers.com and it had free overnight shipping.Hopefully it's here monday. Any tips for when i get it. Shift points, etc. I have the 2008 4.7L. Thanks
