Got the trans tune installed and started messing with it a little bit...I'm kinda lost on the different shift points. Didn't get a chance to mess with the torque management. I've tried to copy Mark's Shift Schedule but some of the numbers didn't match up to mine and my rpms were way too high before it shifted. I didn't like it at all. I'm just looking for some quicker shifts and a little bit more solid shifts. I'd like it to work with Sonnax line pressure booster when I get it.

Have a question about the timing advance/retard function on a SC 3815 on my 02 w/4.7L is it retarding or advancing the timing.. I can only go one way so not sure if it is advancing the timing or retarding the timing.. Please advise...

Well the best you will see gained from a tuner is about 1 MPG better its more geared to get better HP/Trq. Most tuners now a days do have a ECO mode but 1.5 MPG and a loss of HP/Trq. So an easy foot and keeping up with maintenance is the best way to get better MPGs.

Heck if your happy with performance, Check out a Low Temp Theromstat, And a Electric fan. That will bring the best MPGs out of the truck with out trying to make Extra HP

It's also a good idea to replace the "Y" pipe, if you haven't yet, the factory "Y" pipe is very restrictive.
