SC removing TM is pretty ballsy...you know how ram guys are about their trannys giving out. There isn't much gain from it (all TM does is pull timing during the shift once in gear timing is back) and the extra stress on the driveline isn't worth it IMO. I'm really surprised they're doing it.

It'll be a user adjustable option. Since Superchips (the leader in Ram TCM progamming) is applying the routine, I think it will be perfectly fine. The engineer has thought this out.

and baby the trans into gear, then slowly let the power on...in the meantime i'm eating popcorn and waiting for something to happen.

Damn, ZERO TM is kinda scary...don't know if I would try that.

Correct. The test program is set up that way.

Also, the engineer has found an even better way to deal with TM and he'll incorporate it in the upcoming release.

That's the beauty of this program. Doesn't have to be zero. You'll be able to set it where you like it best.

I don't think it's as scary as having a 7000 Rev/Shift limit available to max out and blow a transmission.

hehe

In it's current format, you probably wouldn't want to run it. We're testing piece by piece and the GUI is changing frequently.

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but seeing as it is a 96 page long thread, and it is just a quick one, I'm asking again. Having a 2003 Ram with the HEMI in it, which programmer is considered better, the model 3865 or the 3950 Cortex? Is there a huge difference between them?

Thanks.

I just recently purchased a Cortex for my 08 Hemi Ram 1500. Can someone please describe what types of gains I should be seeing. So far I have not noticed anything other than a slight change in how it shifts while running the 91 tune. I have owned the programmer for approximately 3-weeks now and have run all the programs with the required fuel. My truck appears to have had a loss in power as a result of the re-update. I have contacted Superchips regarding this loss in performance and they are working on it. Their suggestion was to re-update the programmer and re-run them in my truck. I did the re-update and got nothing. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.
