Superchips Questions and Updates

We are finally going to get to see what it is like to have no TM like all the 03 guys have been having when they pull their TM wire. Can't wait!

I have a flashpaq 3865 on 02 5.9 4x4 qc, can anyone tell me the difference between the performance tune and the mileage tune? specifically, how much performance do you loose how much mileage do you gain?
#964
yes, blowing up your trans. From what I remember the SC guys had said we would get a 4 step trans tune, something like 'stock SC setting, +1, +2, and +3'. +3 would come with a warning that you could hurt stuff. I bet 0 TM is the +3

Sil was chosen to alpha test the trans options for us because he has a unique working relationship with our Dodge engineers.
Once he can't break the program anymore it will be the Beta's turn at bat.

Both the Cortex and Fashpaq provide users with safe power, improved driveability, and a multitude of tuning options to choose from for their vehicles.
What makes the Cortex our flagship programmer is because it is the only programmer on the market today that provides the original owner with an additional powertrain warranty adding piece of mind to the purchaser.
The Cortex includes an OEM flex option which allows the user the ability to not only tune gas applications but diesel as well.
The Cortex also differs aesthetically from the Flashpaq with a machined finish on the faceplate and contoured rubber grip on the outer edges.
Both programmers are world class performers and will serve you well.

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but seeing as it is a 96 page long thread, and it is just a quick one, I'm asking again. Having a 2003 Ram with the HEMI in it, which programmer is considered better, the model 3865 or the 3950 Cortex? Is there a huge difference between them?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Beta test release got put on hold for a little bit, so no fun this week I actually had time this week. Now when I get it it'll probably be put it on once and live with it instead of optimizing.

No TM will probably be the most aggressive setting. There will be some kind of disclaimer when you make the choice (this is done in other tuning products as well). Whether or not there are any side effects depends on how one drives the truck, but that could be said in many other modification situations (daily multiple launches, upon launches at full throttle will eventually lead to failure even with the stock transmission tuning). The great thing here is, the way Superchips implements TM is unlike any of it's competitors. They do it correctly. How the user drives is a different story.

If I had to guess I would say that you would be ok running it on 0 tm. Just think about all the guys who have 03's that have pulled the TM wire and driven their truck with 0 TM for months and years without issues.
