Get one, you won't regret it. I have an 04 too and I was kind of reluctant at first to give up the trans control I had with my SC for the DSP. But I will tell you this, while the DSP doesn't have trans control for the 04's yet, the power you gain from it's tunes along with the adjustability of spark/fuel more than makes up for any lack of trans control.

So I got my DSP finally. And after a brutal hour of using a PC, downloading this driver and that, I finally got it installed. Now, I loaded the 93 perf. tune, but I only have access to 92 oct. Should I be running the 91 canned tune instead? I made some videos but the center console squeked up the audio, so I'm gunna edit them down.

Probably should run the 91 tune just to be on the safe side. How are you liking the shifts?

It's worth the money just for the shifts, and thats with 10 miles of driving so far. It rained, so I can't really go play. Maybe some octane booster just to get that 1 point? Don't want to downgrade my performance already.

Im running the 91 right now and I can tell you it is far superior to the SC 91 tune. So I dont think you would be giving up to much power there. As for the shifts, if you like how they are now thats fine but with the partial shifts adjusted it feels (to me) so much better.

I believe that severedistortion has his set to the 87 tune. Personally I am not going back to the 87 tune on any programer, the SC gave me better MPG with it on the 91tune and right now the DSP is giving me a solid 1.5-2mpg better than the SC ever did. So why bother changing it down. 91 is $2.75 here last time I filled up and I was paying the $4 something when it was at its peak mainly because it just wasn't worth down grading performance and mpg for $0.20.

Sound sucks and I guess I need a different editor to get it to upload in HD.
