Well what is odd is that of the guys having the issues, some are missing more than others and some simply wont work at all. I am only missing the trans tuning while another guy is missing the trans + some engine adjusts and another cant load anything at all.

Question for you diablo guys, did they fix this allready? I see the last post in here was a month ago. I am wanting to get a diablo and I know i cant change trans stuff with the 04, but I need to know if all of this affects the 04 cuz I'm mainly getting it to change the idle speed. Ohh and will there be any problems running the 87 tune with factory exhaust and intake? Thanks

Not yet but from whats been gathered its just a problem with the 05's on up that are having issues with parameters missing. The 06's seem to be working fine right now, the 05's are missing the trans setup (I need to go out and run their tests but havent had the time lately to do it), the 07-08;s seem to be fine and the 09 and 10's are having issues with things missing. But as of now I have not heard anything of it affecting the 04's at all so you should be fine. If you are missing stuff though I have both revisions from before the 9r06 CROM whish are working fine.
For your other question, you do not need to have a CAI and/or exhaust to have a tuner, you may gain a little more power but its not required by any means.
