4.7L owners may be getting a DST tuner pretty soon. Diablo has been looking for a local 06 4.7L owner to finish it off. i left a message on the thread asking if i could help but i'm not sure if they would ship it to MS. I dont think i'll get that lucky. So if anyone lives close to Delray Beach, Florida and you have an 06 ram 4.7L then you get a free tuner with free tunes. I'm hoping they'll have it out soon. Good luck

Hello,

Would any of you that own this tuner recommend it to someone who is primarily looking to get an increase in gas mileage?

Really I'm just looking for an increase from 11 to 13 with my Hemi!

I've read through most of the thread and am convinced that the Diablo is the way to go. I just need to justify the cost!

There is very little out there that is going to help with mileage IMO. I know SC has "mileage" but I dont think it is worth it personally.

Depending on your tire size, gears would probably help you the most. But 4wd install isn't cheap.

You want in increase in mileage then an electronic fan is the way to go, I haven't noticed a difference in fuel economy at all with my predator.

I've got the Dodge 20 in wheels with the good year wranglers on them, and I think the gears are 3.92s because according to the inside of the drivers door the truck originally came with 17s.

I don't like the tires at all except that they haven't given me any trouble and there is still at least 10-15k worth of miles on them.

I was thinking of downsizing back to the 17s and getting E rated tires for stability. Do you think that will help with mileage? Or do you think that changing gears w/ the 20 in wheels is a better idea?

thanks for the advice!
