What mods you have planned for cutting that second off your time?

Not trying to bring your hopes down, just curious about what you have planned.

 

a few more.

first power wire, but i doubt that will add little if any at all horsepower, the site claims 8-10 ... but i just don't understand how it does it. just doesn't make logical sense to me. but for 50 bucks why not try it out?

and gonna have a buddy see if he can make custom long tube headers, if not i'll go with gibson shorties

and by than, if i'm not to at least 7.5, going change the gears around a bit

 

and then if i'm still not at 7.5, rice it up a bit with a shot on nitros and a turbo kit!

 

the powerwire wont do it, the shorties alone wont do it, and that combo wont do it. the gears MIGHT if you go 4.56. The combo of all 3 would probably do it.

 

Now that supports my theory, that all the mods contribute a greater gain than a single mod standing by itself. Gears and converter should wake her up. My converter is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Install I hope on Monday. Good luck..

 

Depending on the converter, expect a 25rwhp gain or 6% - 8% less power loss through the drive train.

Also its all about the combo....
