It has to be frog. The spider web comment gives it away (I think).

I like my 2800 TC, but it certainly feels different than stock. Actually softer, no more chirping tires on shifts. I'm thinking of using at least a stage II, maybe a stage III VB to firm it up. Great fun leaving the light.....

I may have asked you this before, but were you able to do runs before and after the tc install to see what kind of difference it makes.

Teacher,
I didn't data log any times. I did the gears followed by the TC a couple days later. I'll say it was a real blast with the stock TC and the gear change. I was chirping second and it launched hard. I would not be surprised that it was actually quicker than it is than now. Only because the overall setup was an excellent match and complimented the combination of mods. The truck is running freer now with the Magnaflow setup and will really get past the current choke point when I install LT's. All this is in preparation for future mods. I understand my truck pretty well and it is moving nicely toward my end goals.

What made you decide to go with the TCI over some of the more commonly used brands?
Teach, Well mostly got it because of cost, as I got a real good deal on one (5% Tax and $20 Handling Fee, No shipping or Duty). FYI we Canadians pay dearly for freight and duty at the Border on the higher ticket items that are bulky or heavy and by the time our US priced Item gets to the door the price is as High as it would be to buy it up here and depending on where you live the mark-up can be herendous. The other brands are nicely built to spec but since my Cam will probably change in the future and have yet to decide on final tire and gear combo I felt I should try Basic first. I can always sell it on to another Alberta Ram owner easily if it proves to work well.
The TCI Breakaway seems to fall within the specs I need 1000 over stock (24-2600 stall) and also for the reason no one out there has written a review or at least I can't find any reference to any so I will be the ginny pig for this one, and will get to find out just how much it will do to improve on my times at this point (6.59). I am hoping to cut my time as my next times to match are the 6.33 and then 5.92 (sound familiar), I am not sure if I can reach those with my 3.55's but the more time I can shave off before doing the big gear change the happier i'll be when I do complete that one and for sure will then be into the 5's range. After the TC install, I will try the Ported TB and Airaid MIT before I do the Gears and maybe one of those DMH electric cut-outs you guys are raving about.

Default New best 0-60 mph time "5.93"

Gang,
More traffic than normal today but got two runs in, with the backup run being the keeper. First run, 5.97. Second run 5.93. This is the first time I've been in the "5"s. And there is more if I reduce a little wheel spin. I would say this puts a black eye on the Flowmaster as the muffler was the only change.

Stoked.....
