It has been a long time coming to get some performance minded guys on this forum. It really did used to be that all the real performance trucks were strictly on DT. But now it seems there is a growing group of guys on here who are interested in getting more out of their trucks. It is great to see DF moving in the performance direction.
I detect a slight shift toward street trucks on the forum? Street performance is basically defined different than off-road trucks. So that may be part of it. It is all good.
Its the hemi's fault LOL thats great.... I can use that excuse as I add more parts... I can see it now telling my wife that "I didn't wnt to buy it but the hemi made me.... its all the hemi's fault".... I wonder how far that will get me
Ha ha, but can you answer, "How fast will my truck go?" Now that's a fun question!
I think I would have to see at least 1000 threads about that to catch up to the number of threads about "How big of a tire can I fit with a leveling kit" that I have seen
Well, to get back on track a little I'll have the new high flow cat and A/F kit installed when I get back. The ABS light has ben corrected. So the next step will be a custom tune. I know this is premature because I'm not cammed yet, but I am really curious to see what a custom tune does in comparison to my DSP tunes. I'm thinking the custom tune may really be a eye opener. The local strip which I haven't been to for fifteen years has a street night, so I want to make a test night with the DSP tune and then after the custom tune. This is a win win setup. Time to exerise old red.
