I had another thought (maybe more for 03 forgottens club) but it could apply here too.

What if I removed the Transgo Resistor (theres been some good discussion on that). That could prove if it is a good thing or not for our 03's. If my time improves then I know that the line pressure mod coupled with superchips (cause they say don't do it) doesn't help us 03's, and if it reduces my run time then we know it works (line pressure is boosted).

If I was to do this it would have to be before the e-fan install (still waiting for shipment) as that is my next run, can't wait.

HemiGuy302 now your bearing is fixed do you think one of those AF patented 4wd launches would get you into the 8's?

im pretty sure your superchips doesnt control your line pressure at all. the other years do, but i dont think the superchips has any control over your tranny. All you can do is raise your rev limiter and maybe 1 or 2 shift points? i didnt think you could adjust torque mgmt (not talking about tmr delete) or shift firmness or anything like that

HA! AF patented...riiiiiight. I'm only copying off of tons of guys that require 4x4 for launches. I've dreamt of the day i'd need 3 wheels turnin to get enough traction on dry pavement.

I'm curious about what the torque converter will do if i'm still slippin a little even in 4x4. maybe i'll need to put an lsd up front too ok lets not get carried away...

Lol I will try another 2wd launch and see how she fly's. Tomorrow maybe? I dunno lat time I ran 9 flat and to be honest with 236XXX kms on it and weighing as much as it does I'm fairly impressed. If I can grab a sub nine run I will be stoked.

agree but what I meant is that guys are doing the DIY resister mod to boost line pressure. And because Transgo says do not install their shift kit resistor if you have a Tuner (and I know Superchips does nothing for 03's) is why I installed it to get the benifit. My thought was just that perhaps I could prove my theory is all.

A metric LSD where? I only called it AF Patented cause I heard that trick from you and I can't spin mine in 2wd. Thats why I want to get the best 3.55 gear data log I can before I Gear-Up.

Does anyone have a dyno sheet for before and after a new torque converter install. I mean word of mouth is great but I wanna see some RWHP numbers.

differe TC's put down different numbers. The Racing 'verters (most common) add about 6-10% of your loss back. So instead of 28-31%, you're around 20-23% loss. The regular street 'verters dont add any rwhp numbers, just a higher stall resulting in "felt" acceleration (similar to what gears do)
