The shop is Arrington Engines in Martinsville, Va. I spoke to a highly respected local engine builder (Performance Counts in Farmville) and he also recommended them for doing chasis dyno's. I have known the owner of Performance Counts for 20 years. He will do my heads when I'm ready.

Those heads are really expensive. What kind of gains are guys showing after installing them?

I believe the BV PnP heads put down around 20rwhp (with a good tune) by themselves. Coupled with a cam and headers and you got a hell of a beast for an engine. I would love to do either the BV PnP heads or the 09' 5.7 VVT Big Chamber Cylinder Heads.

$1600-$2100 for the heads are not that bad, I have seen some that are 2g's per side.

If I were lowered and racing I could see dropping that kind of money in mine but my truck just is NOT built to go in that direction. Sometimes I wish i had a 05+ 2wd RC to drop and do all of that with but I wouldnt want to imagine how much I would end of having invested.

Right there with you on that one. It would be fun to mod up a lighter, smaller version of my truck. Too bad fitting kids in a rc is pretty much not happening.
