Data Loggers

I usually go over in October and return stateside in the spring. The wife and I have a grandaughter we look after. I enjoy the time, but it has it's challenges.

Well if it were me, I would hold off on the highflow cats til you can do the headers and rest of the exhaust. If you end up doing them now, to get them to fit you will need the 2.5" in/out cats instead of the 3" that you would need to do when you get around to the headers.

Truckin,
I'm planning to run the single 3" cat with the LT's and Y pipe. The rest of the exhaust is finished. I mounted the muffler as far back as I could, so it is just of a matter of fitting the header and y pipe. This is were the QC have an advantage.

Alright, as long as you are doing everything at once and not just doing the high flows now. It would really suck to have to modify the cats to make them fit now and then change them to work with the headers.
And yeah the quad cabs have so much room to work with when it comes to working with the exhaust setup.

Here is a vid (in 720 HD on youtubes site if you have the bandwidth to see it) of my Trinity and the gauges I setup on it to do my logging. Ive got to say, I LOVE my Trinity WAY more than a Predator

Installed the Magnaflow High Flow Cat today 3" in/out. Moved it back behind the trans cross member. The new muffler is as far back as possible. The whole story is long, but basically I thought since I needed to do some exhaust repair, I would work toward putting the muffler and cat rearward as far as possible in preperation for LT's. It is still hot here but made a few 0-60 mph runs, disappointing times dropped from my previous 5.88 to 6.23. Well, the good news is I know which Cat to install when I do the headers now. I'll trim the openings on the OEM Cat and weld up some nice 3" pipe to it to remove the choke point on the outlet side..

Hell man, it must be hot there today to be doing data logging runs. It hit 104 here today so it must be even hotter where you are. Maybe try again when it is cooler and see if it does anything for you.

Well you either lost some BP or the heat is killing you.... Im betting on the heat. Get out early morning and take it for a spin while its still "cool" out. Hell its in the 90's at night here...
