Five seven ram...I read where you dont have a lot of mods on your truck, so a little advise, I have an 06 Ram Hemi, and on the way home from work one day, a buddy of mine with an 07 rc chevy with 5.3, walked away from me. I was stock and he had CAI, Tuner, and a TB spacer. So my advise to you is don't think that just because its a 5.3, your gonna teach him a lesson. If he has done any work on it at all, and you haven't, he's probably gonna teach you one, plus his truck probably weighs 400 or so pounds less than yours. Now after I did the same mods he had, it was a different story. Even with him adding long tubes he never beat me again. Find out what he has done to his truck before spouting off too bad.. By the way, those 5.3 motors are very good motors and have a much better stock tune than your truck, and with the weight difference, he might easily run with you stock for stock...Good luck and let me know how it turns out

yeah his is completley stock, nothing done to it at all. i'll let you guys know how it goes but ive driven his truck and it feels like a darn slug compared to mine. wish me luck! haha
Well it all depends on your preference. I kno that we have all 3 as company trucks. The only one to give us any problems if our gm. The passenger door holds water. The dealer didn't know Y r how to fix

Yea imo government motors (gm) has the best quality vehicles out of the 3 top American brands. I don't support them though because they were pansies and used Obama to bail them out where ford closed down factories and laid people off to make up for the lost money. F socialism!
