ohh, you're removing the motor powered fan and replacing with an electric.. I was under the impression you were just adding an additional electric fan. I was wondering how you would benefit from having both.. Now i understand..

 

Man, 9.5 is low. Do you have your foot in it all the time?

 

I get 9.5 to 12.5 on my 6 mile commute. Stop-n-go is what kills my mileage. Driving around on the weekends, I get 11-14. All as indicated by the overhead console. It may not be accurate, but it's consistent within driving styles (stop-n-go, no traffic, weekend).

 

My truck is stock and I get 9 mpg, but that is because I live 1 mile from work and the truck never warms up.
The good news is I get 20 mpg freeway consistantly.

 

I average between 10 and 13 in town. More often than not i have a heavy foot. I get better milage when there are slow ***** in front of me which happens more than i care for...
