fwiw, gents, (and the spare lady from time to time), you should all be experiencing the best mileage of the year right now- the EPA allows the best blends at the end of summer.. it will drop off sharply after October for most of us, and maybe December for the rest.. summer blend fuel rocks... Winter blend sucks..

yeah, not looking forward to mpg's in the winter...but i am looking forward to the snow. kind of a love hate relationship for the winter time. 04 hemi 4x4 63k on it getting about 16.2 combined highway (55-60mph) and city(30-35 mph stop and go)

just make sure and use that startron in the winter for certain.. all the butane used in those blends not only burns faster, but has a similar effect on soft parts and pieces as ethanol does.. startron seems to REALLY help with the winter blends, where it is a marginal boost for summer blends..

oh yes, i will most definitely still use it in the winter. its really worth running it for only like 8 bucks a bottle and treating like 120 gallons.

I must be storing my startron wrongly because my stuff evaporates slowly over time. I had 2 ounces left and then the other day when I filled up it was down to like .5 ounces!

'06 QC LB Larime 2500 4X4 5.7 Hemi. I get 10.2 around town and 12.2 on the hwy. I've put on a cool air intake and colder plugs, need to know if I rebuild the transmission if I can get better mileage?
