06 Ram Sport QC 2500 4x4 Hemi, 12.5 today on a 200 mile trip. All Stock. I plan on putting on an intake and exhaust and hope to at least get 15 or so. I keep fighting with my father in law who has a 2001 Phord 2500 diesel. He is getting 19mpg. I smoke him with speed but he wins on the MPG war we have. any tips on intake's and exhaust?

Right now My mileage is as good as 21 on the Highway and 16 in the city. This is running 87 octane mode with the superchips flashpaq. When I have it on Performance setting it drops to about 13 city and 16 highway. Hope when I get home this weekend and install my CAI kit I might squeeze another mile or two per gallon.

I have been using Superchips for the last few weeks, 87 octane mode got me 12.6 MPG, 91 octane performance mode got 13.2 and my average before using the programmer was about 13 MPG using 87 octane. This is a mix of city/hwy driving. The last time I checked mileage before getting the programmer was in the summer and I have read mileage drops in the winter because fuel is formulated differently, so this may not be a fair comparison.

Hey all, I am a first time poster, but thought that I would add my two bits on this one. I have an '05 1500 Hemi 4x4 with a 6" lift, 35" tires, Magnaflow exhaust, K&N CAI. I have been getting around 12.5 mpg here is Boise. I have had the truck for a month now, and am planning a trip out of town in a couple weeks, so I don't have a highway number yet.
