Don't know why so many get low gas mileage
2006 1500 trx-4 off road 4 door, HEMI, custom rims/tires, average 16-17, on a trip once got 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was very impressed

 

2002 durango 4x4
16 ish in the city around 19 hwy

 

I hate all of yall... with the V6 we are "supposed" to get about 19mpg... Im averaging 14mpg when I bought it, and now 16mpg.. (1700 miles on it..) I can't belive the hemi guys are getting the same/better gas as me... sucks! I'm gettin the V8 next time

 

Some of the HEMI owners, I think and I repeat, I think, are just reading their overhead mpg. Thats not accurate. I think if they do the fill up, write mileage, fill up almost at empty, write new mileage, then divide the new mileage-mileage by the gallons to fill up, they would get different numbers. Now I am getting 15mpg, but I think the cool weather is helping.

 

I was talking with a friend of mine last night,he wants to look at the jeep Compass. So we did. He told me that his 05 Jeep Limited only gets 15 in the city and he feels that that is awful. He has the Hemi.I told him that if my 04 Hemi got 15 in the city I'd think that someone was filling my tank when I wasn't looking. I told him to Keep his Jeep ,and it's all wheel Drive.

 

Ive got a 04, 4.7 an I just drove from mass to texas an got 17mpg

Im waiting on SuperChip to make a unit for this years Ram 1500

 

2002 Ram 1500 4.7L, just got back from a trip left KY to OH then WI and back to KY about 1900+ miles average MPG was 16.5

 

05 hemi quad cab..I get 12.3mph all the time city..and 13+ highway...I pretty much floor my truck everywhere....

 

'04 reg cab hemi 9.25 rear end was getting 19mpg with 245/70/17,but dropped to 17mpg now that I got 275/60/20's.But the speedo is off,because of the bigger tires (+ 4"),so that has to come into account.
