Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
06 ram 5.7 hemi quad cab trx4, cat back exhaust, k&n intake, motoblue throttle body spacer, superchips tuner (tuned to premium fuel,,performance), bed cover, 25k miles, I also use Amsoil synthetic oil... got 20.5 today travelling from San Antonio to Sherman, excited because I put the throttle body spacer on last night, and drove between 75 and 85. Stock, I was averaging 15 to 16,bed cover gave me 16 to 17,exhaust and intake gave me 18 to 19, but that was only 75 mph or less. My travels are 80% highway and 20% city. Wind direction has the greatest affect on gasmileage. I once got 23 mpg from Austin to San Antonio with a front blowing me south (65 to 75 mph travel speed), and with only the bed cover and intake. My only problem is that with all of these additions, I still have a hard time breaking the tires loose from a standing start. The new hemi has nothing on the old hemi, or the 383 or 440.That said, I love my truck!

I've got the 4x2 model. Around 3500 miles so far. On strictly highway trips with my tailgate down I've got 21mpg at or around 75-80mph. With the tailgate up I've got around 16 or so. My normal commute which is probably 60/40 city/hwy miles, I average around 12.3mpg with the tailgate up. Tailgate down, more like 13.4mpg.
