Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
ok... i found out the trick for amazing gas mileage with the HEMI MDS!!!! i am getting 40.7 mpg right now. stock truck. i filled up last night. i did 60hwy/40city driving. my mpg keeps going up and up!! here the trick:
keep the RPMs between 1500 and 2500. when accelerating dont go over 2750-3000. make sure you keep RPMs at about 2000 the whole time. look, if i had a camera, id take a pic of this. i swear to god im getting the 40.7mpg! i drive on the freeway between 60-65 mph with the cruise control on. the mpg is gonna keep going up. ill let ya know what it is when i get home from school today.

2005 1500 5.7L 4wd...14.4mpg. To get this, I added an AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake, Superchips Flashpaq tuner, and a Gibson exhaust. Highly noticable performance gains and better mpg than stock.

I've been averaging about 15.5-16 on 70% Hwy & 30% City. The truck loves its gas but its WAY better gas mileage then my 2003 4.7L Quad Cab Dakota was. I would average about 12 MPG on the Highway. And that was with 1 in 2 out exhaust, K&N Air filter, and 32" tires.
