Sorry, I should also mention The truckhas 3.92 gears and 20" wheels. I am happy with the 15.7 MPG. I also have a 89 F250 tow rigwith a non overdrive c6 and a 460ci engine--8MPG towing a 8000 trailer

 

Tomorrow I'm taking my 04 Quad cab 4x4 ThunderRoad Hemi for it's first real trip. Were going to Bennington Vermont from New Castle Delaware. Somewhere around 800 miles all together. Using 87 oct.We will be back this coming weekend.( Death in the family.) I was going to take my 06 PT Convertible ,but I decidedI wanted something heavier on the NY freeway.

 

City - 11 - 12.5 depending on how I'm feeling.
Hwy - Was 16 - 17 but improved dramatically to 18.5 and sometimes 20 at 55 - 60mph, after I added a tonneau cover. No BS... Have 16k on truck.

 

I have an 03 QC and I gte 15.5-16.0 in town and 17.0 to 18.0 on the highway. Mods are as listed in sig. Truck has 39k on it.

16.0 about 50/50 city highway and always hand calculated, I couldn't give two ****s about overhead computer numbers those are way skewed.

 

This week was pretty windy in WI so I averaged 13.5 Last week I got around15.8

 

03 Quad cab 4.7 getting 12.9 no highway at all. I need help?

I can't find any info on the Flex fuel for my truck. Anybody??????

 

We got back yesterday evening, total mileage driven was 797 miles. Driving up in a heavy rainI got 17.1 , 320 miles. drove around Benninton North Adams and Williamstown 157 miles, mostly around 35 to 45 mph lots of one lane roads up and down the mountains.got 15.6 average. Drove back got 16.6 no rain. speeds were between 65 and 70 both ways. Didn't use the over head gadget. all done with a adding machine. averaged 16.4 mpg. using 87 octane.

 

i have 1500 mi. on my 2007 Laramie... im floating between 12.0 and 12.8... i need to spend my $700-800on a tonneau and then ill get back to ya then...
