Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
I saw this discussion pop up a few months ago.. suprised it's on page 33 now! The computer MPG is wrong. At least on mine. I've got a k&n cold air and dual exhaust and that may be throwing it off. I just took the truck on our honeymoon to Gatlinburg from Jackson, MS. I reset the computer and checked it out 320 miles and a 'bout empty tank later. 16.1 on the computer and 20 or soon my ratio. Whatever it is:it's a 4.7 pulling a big truck
I posted it somewhere, but this place seems more appropriate:
'02 Ram ST LB 3.7 V6 with 5sp manual. 106K miles.
15 MPG city,
18 MPG hwy,
16.5 MPG with a 700lb ATV and supplies on the bed of my truck going through the Rockies (1100 miles trip),
7 MPG !!! With the same setup as above + 4000 lbs enclosed 6 x 12 trailer (moving from Chicago to Tulsa) 700 miles and 100 gallons of gas!
That trailer was a real anchor
Most of the hills in MO required downshifting to 3rd gear and some to 2nd!!!
Best gas milage ever - 22 MPG hwy, 400 mile trip 55 MPH.

Only have 9675 miles on my '06. Took trip to Wyoming last June averaged 15 MPG on 2966 mile trip (3 guys, 12 guns and cases, about 8000 rounds ammo, optics, and luggage for 4 day prairie dog hunt. The bedwas full to the rimbelieve me.) We probably drove about 70 - 80 mph most of the trip. Truck only had a little over 1000 miles at start of trip.
Get average of 12.2 MPG on my daily commute over the last 6 months. I only average about 10 miles per day in city driving. Don't baby my baby much. Love to hear that HEMI talk.
These figures are hand calculated not from computer. Just checked my computer it says 14.3 MPG. Yeah I wish

05 QC Hemi 20" Wheels - 19.5 MPG travelling between 60 - 70 mph. Using Cruise Control. Dropped down to 16.3 pulling my 21' boat, 65 mph with OD off (Ran consistently at 2100 RPM)
I am either getting great mileage or my computer is a liar.
