Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
I get about 9.5 to 10 mpg from home to work (6 mile round trip) No other driving.Best on the highway was New Orleans to Destin, FL inrainthe entire way about 55 to 60 mph. average on the computer was 19.4. Went to Georgia for Labor Day weekend average about 17.3.
But what are you guys doing to try to increase mileage? I added a tonneau cover not for increased mileage but to protect stuff in the truck. What about exhaust? Flowmaster, Magnaflow, or something else? I have a K&N filter in the box, but I want to add the cold air intake. My son just put a 1 into 2 flowmaster on his 99 Dakota Sport, so I don't know what his mileage is.

I commute about 115 miles round trip a day on nothing but pretty flat interstate. If I keep it 75mph or below I get the 19, but it starts falling off rapidly if I take it any higher.
Around town, I just drive like the tires have glue. The exhaust sounds good no matter what speed, so the sound keeps me happy. Occasionally, I do have to walk the dog on the Chevies though.
