Just thumbing through the threads that were brought here. Seems like a lot of tech stuff that lost it's topic after a few posts.Which will happen, I'm happy too get the ball rolling as it were. The powers that be saw an avenue and took it. Very nice, I hope this gets as much attention as the tech side. Please too all the posters lets have some fun here. Time too fill up your drink or let down your hair. And please no pissing matches. We are all adults here let's have some fun shall we??

I def wasn't interested in partaking in any of that thread moving hodge podge. Yet am pleased to see this solution to the problem. I enjoy to read the non-tech related yet still 3rd gen specific info. As it helps inspire me w/ future ideas for my truck. (aka a good alarm to protect me from all the RAM thieves running amuck out there.) Props to the MODS!

 

Oh you guys are the worst. lolWell speaking from the wheel chair, i hope ya'll can relate too the fact that I am not getting the sc tuner, yet!! I had a deal with the gf and it fell thru. So living without it for now.

We've been walking a fine line on this forever. Just my own PM box would get better than a dozen PM's a week from guys either reporting posts or just simply asking if there was a way to not have to sift through dozens of non-technical posts just to find some information.

Also, we see a ton of repetitive questions in various sections, for example "what DVD player......"
So we made a conscious effort to move posts where they would benefit more people and also some time ago created an OT thread within the tech sections.

That was the first step in trying to find some middle ground.
So now we found that we have guys feeling "slighted" when their posts get moved or get "burried" in the OT thread. How the hell are you supposed to make everybody happy?

So basically this should be the place for posts that fall somewhere between the "what actress has the nicest ta-ta's" threads and the "how do I tear down my transmission" threads. Kinda the perfect spot for "check out my color match paint job I did on my bumper" threads, the ones that are related to your trucks, but not really technical.

Hopefully this section is a step in the right direction, but as always, if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free...
