What color is your truck? On my silver '05 all I had was an outline where the dirt and grime were embedded around the letters/numbers. I used a little bit of Meguiars ColorX and it disappeared. But that part probably depends on the truck and the color.
It's basic black. I'm hoping it's going to be ok. Other than the hood Ram, it's the only thing chrome left on the truck. Or I could just tell the wife I need new paint now!
I think it makes the truck look more 'custom' when you don't have the same badges as thousands of other trucks. Hence, I think it looks good on a truck with work done to it, and not so great on a stocker
