usually i say 4x4's get lifted, but if you never use the 4x4 for offroad or snow or anything, lowering is better for efficiency's sake

a 2" drop will still be fine in the NY snow. level it (with a 2" rear drop)

4x4 should be level don't matter if you raise the front or lower the back. If you don't do anything other than snow both would be fine. Lowering the rear would be better for stability and keeping the nice ride that these trucks have.

I dunno, I'm still of the school of thought that says you raise a 4x4 and lower a 4x2...

Although I know a lot more guys who have lifted 4x2s than lowered ones (mostly farmers though, for dealing with ruts and ditches around farm work).

I voted and am severly biased. Leveled And I love it, 2 feet a snow aint gonna slow my butt down, but it will a lowered truck, cuz you know your gonna have steet tread on that ride. Man up and lift the nose, You'll be glad you did. It's a truck not a smart car!!

i can understand leveling it cause its 4x4 but as far as a "smart car" i dont really get that? i lived in syracuse for quite some time and can understand how the snow gets up there during the winter months so go with what u think u will like best!!!!
